The Bourn Dancers are a group of dancers aged 5-19 who make up our nationally recognized competitive team. These dancers train between 8 and 15 hours a week and study ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, tumbling and hip hop. Our team travels around the state to compete regionally and out-of-state, to at least one national level competition a year. At Bourn Academy of Dance, being a member of our competitive dance team is about so much more than winning trophies. It is about being a part of a family and learning how to be a poised and well respected member of the dance world, as a whole. Members of our competitive team gain a tremendous amount of performance exposure, are exposed to choreography and styles from around the country, experience individual growth and learn about the dedication and bonding that come from being a part of a team. |
