The senior dancers would like to
thank everyone who supported their fundraising in preparation for their trip
to New York City. The girls and Ethan
had an amazing time and learned a great deal.
The trip was highlighted by the classes they took at Broadway Dance
Center. Studying under professionally
recognized teachers and choreographers is a great experience for young
dancers. Even though it was cold, cold, cold;
the group also had a great time making their way around the city. Shopping was definitely a highlight,
whether it was H & M, Strawberry’s or China Town, the trips back to the
hotel were always bag laden. Perhaps one of the most exciting
adventures was seeing Grease on Broadway. Nothing quite compares
to the excitement of a Broadway theater, especially when filled with the
sights and sounds of one of the most popular musicals of all time. |

“Broadway Babies” coming to Bourn Academy |

That’s
right, we are changing the face our pre-school program to make your young
child’s introduction to dance and performance even more exciting. The new program is built, not only to give
them a strong start to their dance education, but also to help them
experience what it means to be a “Broadway Baby.” Their weekly class will also include an
introduction to rhythm, sound and song and local performance opportunities
